White capsule-shaped outline on a black background evokes the precision and care akin to a veterinarian's expert hands.

A German Shepherd with a fluffy coat stands on a gravel path, looking to the side. Its tongue is out, and ears are perked up—like it just heard its favorite veterinarian calling. The background is a blur of green foliage, suggesting a natural outdoor setting.

Canine Pet Rescue (CPR)

The logo for Canine Pet Rescue features a black silhouette of a dog leaping through a red heart outline, symbolizing care akin to that found at a veterinarian. "CPR" is prominently displayed with "Canine Pet Rescue" written vertically, and a red ECG line runs alongside.

Canine Pet Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue organization focusing on saving German Shepherds from high kill shelters in the South.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and Heart Worm preventative prior to placement. Adoption fees range from $250 to $350, and only partially cover the costs of vetting and caring of our dogs. To apply for adoption, please visit their website here.

MACS Friends Animal Rescue

Our mission at MACS Friends Animal Rescue is to provide quality care, while protecting and advocating for animals. We strive to promote kindness and compassion towards animals while educating our community in hopes to slow the overpopulation and the mistreatment of animals to save lives. It is our belief that through education, involvement from our community, and promoting kindness towards animals that we can give the cats and dogs of MACS Friends Animal Rescue a second chance at life and find them the forever home they deserve.

All the animals of MACS Friends are spayed/neutered, microchipped, on prevention and vaccinated prior to adoption. We focus on saving animals from high kill shelter euthanasia lists as well as those left behind and no longer wanted by their families. Our adoption fees for cats is $150 and $300 for dogs.

We’re More Than Just a Vet Clinic—We’re Your Neighbors

At Happy Tails Vet Care, we’re proud to be an active part of the Winder and Bethlehem communities. From local festivals and county fairs to the beloved annual Christmas parade, we love connecting with neighbors (both two- and four-legged!) beyond the exam room.

Throughout the year, you’ll find us participating in charity events that support both pets and people in need—because caring goes far beyond clinic walls. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and check back here to see where we’ll be next. Whether it’s a parade, fair, or community gathering, come say hello at our booth—we’re always happy to chat and answer any questions.
